Singer-songwriter Alyssa Reid grew up in Brampton, Ontario after being born in Edmonton. Her debut album The Game spawned international hit single “Alone Again” as well as the title-track, a Top 40 hit at home. Reid co-wrote most of the album’s songs with Jamie Appleby. Her new single “Talk Me Down” she co-wrote with three including Toronto pop star Jesse Labelle. Jesse’s song “Heartbreak Coverup”, which features Reid, entered the Canadian Billboard Hot 100 last week. Reid’s song entered the chart this week, and a few days ago, the music video was released. The video makes a very strong anti-bullying statement. Check it out below.
