Montreal’s Barrasso cranks up some harder rock on new album Des X, des croix, des pointilles while the city’s Beat Cops debut with the punky Mean Streets. On Blonde is the latest indie-pop album from Kelowna, BC’s JUNO-nominated Yukon Blonde. Burlington, Ontario folk-pop outfit Walk Off the Earth has entered the iTunes Top 3 with Sing It All Away. Edmonton’s Calvin Love in gearing up for a Super Future with his alternative rock album.

Into the realm of EPs, we begin with indie-pop All Signs Point to Yes from Tokyo Police Club member Dave Monks. Quebec City’s Final State is one of Canada’s better rock bands having charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and new EP C’est La Vie holds four songs plus a Franco version of one of them. W. Darling debuts with her adult-oriented pop EP, Chapter One. Duo YYZ has released its third single, “Hit & Run” with a couple of dance remixes to get your party going.
