Canadian Hot 100, 8 July 2015

The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” betters its peak chart position by reaching #6. This is the highest notch achieved by a domestic artist on the Hot 100 in 2015. New on the chart this week is Alessia Cara’s “Here” at #73. She is a new teen star from Toronto. Trevor Guthrie’s “Summertime” debuts on the chart at #87. Beginning this week, new music releases will globally be switched from Tuesdays to Fridays. Because of this, the Nielsen Canadian Music Update Newsletter containing the Billboard charts will come out on Mondays rather than Wednesdays.
