Canadian Hot 100, 14 September 2015

For a second week in a row, The Weeknd is king of the albums chart with Beauty Behind the Madness. The first week of release the album sold 35,000 copies and last week 17,000 for a total of 52,000 to date. This puts it well over the gold marker. Coeur de Pirate’s Roses slips only slightly from #2 to #4 this week. On the Hot 100, Justin Bieber spends his second week at #1 with “What Do You Mean”. The first week it sold 48,000 and the second week 23,000 putting it at 71,000, close to platinum certification. Speaking of this, Shawn Hook’s “Sound of Your Heart” was declared a platinum single today. It is the British Columbian’s first platinum certified recording. Brett Kissel’s “Airwaves” attains a new peak at #68 and is #2 on the Billboard Country Radio chart.
