Canadian Hot 100, 22 September 2015

New in the Top 10 on the Billboard albums chart is Brett Kissel’s Pick Me Up at #7. The new album sold 2,800 copies last week and is the first 2015 album by an Albertan to make the Top 10. As we previously announced, track “Airwaves” is #1 on country radio, the 4th Canadian single to accomplish this in the past 3 calendar years. On the Billboard Hot 100, Justin Bieber spends his third consecutive week at #1 with “What Do You Mean”. Music Canada has certified his “Where Are U Now” collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo a double platinum single for sales exceeding 160,000 units. It is the second of the year involving a Canadian artist, the other being “Earned It” by The Weeknd. There are 4 new CanCon entries on the chart this week. Leading the pack is “One Love” by BC pop group Marianas Trench at #60. Francesco Yates’ “Call” debuts at #77, Drake’s “Right Hand” at #90, and Wes Mack’s “The Way You Let Me Down” at #100.
