Canadian Hot 100, 5 October 2015

On the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, Bernard Adamus has scored the year’s 2nd country and 7th overall #1 Canadian album with Sorel Soviet So What. Brigitte Boisjoili’s Patsy Cline tribute album increases its position from last week (up one notch to #5) as does Mario Pelchat’s tribute album to French singer Gilbert Bécaud (up two positions to #8). It is rare these days to see an album chart higher than its debut week. On the Billboard Hot 100, Justin Bieber spends his fifth week at #1. Two new entries are from the Drake and Future collaboration album. In other chart news, half of the Top 10 songs on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 are from Canadian artists.
