Of the four finalists on this year’s installment of The Voice, it is Rosa Laricchiuta who will be launching an album, and lucky for rock lovers, yes, it will augment that genre. The Montreal-born Canadian singer is of Italian descent. Her vocal talent was discovered in a karaoke bar and led to an Asian tour for a whole decade: Greater China, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, Bahrain, the UAE, and Indonesia. Returning home, she started work as a security guard and followed her love interest to New Brunswick. Rosa’s dream was to become a rocker like her coach on The Voice, Eric Lapointe, and her dream is about to be fulfilled. She will be recording under her given name only, Rosa, which is also the title of her debut album out October 30. Just from the song samples, it sounds fantastic. Rosa has already done some shows with Melissa Etheridge! The album is now available for preorder on iTunes.
