Five JUNO Awards, two #1 hits, two triple platinum digital tracks, 46 charting singles, and all studio albums with multiplatinum certification, Stratford, Ontario’s Justin Bieber is set to release his latest LP, Purpose. In the strict sense, this is his third studio album, after My World 2.0 (2010) and Believe (2012). Mistletoe was a Christmas album, Journals a compilation of previously released singles, and My World an EP. The artwork for the new album was revealed today and partly designed by Los Angeles graffiti master Retna. Purpose’s lead single “What Do You Mean?” has spent five consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. According to Billboard, Purpose will also include Justin’s collaboration with EDM specialists Skrillex and Diplo “Where Are U Now” which is up to double platinum status. Most of the preorder album bundles being sold through his website have already sold out. Joining the Biebs with album releases in November are French-Canadian new wave empress Mylène Farmer, BC pop group Hedley, and adult contemporary Scottish import Johnny Reid.
