It was used as the theme song for television comedy series Friends which starred Canadian – American actor Matthew Perry. Twenty-five songs from the year-end top 100 chart below involve Canadian artists who have been bolded in red. The top song by a Canadian was “I Wish You Well” by Tom Cochrane (#4).
