Jess, Dean, Madeline, HV Performing at 2016 CCMA Gala

The Canadian Country Music Association announced today that Jess Moskaluke, Madeline Merlo, High Valley, and Dean Brody will take the stage to perform at the 2016 CCMA Awards Show on Sunday, September 11. This will be the first time for the gala to be held in London. The program will air on CBC at 8 p.m. and be emceed by comedian Jessi Cruickshank.

Jess Moskaluke has won the CCMA award for female artist of the year for the past two years in a row. She is acclaimed as the first female Canadian country solo artist since Shania Twain to score a gold single with hit “Cheap Wine and Cigarettes”. This year, she has landed two songs in the country radio top 10.

Winner of the 2015 CCMA Rising Star Award, Madeline Merlo, is nominated for the 2016 CCMA Female Artist of the Year Award. In April, she released her debut album, Free Soul which spawned Top 10 hit “Whatcha Wanna Do About It”.

Beginning as a trio, Alberta’s High Valley is now a duo and has score a pair of gold singles. HV won the 2015 CCMA award for Group or Duo of the Year.
