On the Billboard Albums Chart, the top 3 spots are filled by Canadian artists: Yoan, Three Days Grace, and Louis-Jean Cormier respectively. Yoan is the first album from a Canuck to spend two weeks at #1 since March 2014 when Serge Fiori’s self-titled work did the same. On the Hot 100, we say goodbye to MAGIC’s “Rude” which spent a total of 69 weeks on the chart, the second longest stay for a Canadian track. Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” holds the record at 74 weeks. “Better To Be Loved” by Francesco Yates has entered the Top 40, his first song to do so. This week’s biggest leap forward belongs to Shawn Hook, as “Sound of Your Heart” jumps 21 positions from #100 to #79.
