Billboard has published a year-end chart for the Top 25 artists of 2013 based on the chart performance of their Hot 100 singles in Canada. Hawaii’s Bruno Mars finished in first place. The top Canadian artist of 2013 was Serena Ryder at #9 with her big hits “Stompa” (14th of the year) and “What I Wouldn’t Do” (30th of the year). The other Canadian artists that made the chart were Robin Thicke (#12), Tegan and Sara (#18), Walk Off the Earth (#23), and Classified (#25). Last year also saw five Canucks in the Top 25 while none of the artists on last year’s chart made this year’s. On the equivalent 2013 chart in the United States, two Canadians made the Top 25: Drake (#10) and Robin Thicke (#12).
